While watching the Grammy Awards and the very entertaining commercials shown on CBS, I was really unimpressed with the one showing a teen-ager walking into the local hangout and ordering a Coke. The music stops and all of his peers, including the cook, gasp and stare at him as though he ordered a jug of Pepto Bismol. Totally embarrassed, he changes his order to a Pepsi. The music goes on and he’s accepted. Talk about teaching kids that to be an individual is to be unaccepted. The Pepsi company should be ashamed of itself.
