A gang member was arrested in the slaying of a 10-year-old Inglewood girl who was struck by a random bullet fired from a passing car, Inglewood police said. Capt. Jim Seymour said David Brooks Cole, 20, of Los Angeles was booked on suspicion of murder in the Feb. 9 shooting of Dominique Blackshear, who was hit by a bullet that entered the window of her family’s home on West 77th Street. Seymour said Cole has been identified as the gunman who fired a dozen or so shots toward the house. Cole told police he is a member of the Rolling 60s, a faction of the large South Los Angeles Crips gang, Seymour said. Cole was jailed without bail.
