Body of Would-Be Burglar Found in Pub’s Chimney

SHREVEPORT, La. —
Two women who went to an upstairs lounge at a pub early Tuesday found the body of a would-be burglar who apparently died while trying to slide down the chimney, police said. A spokesman for the Caddo Parish coroner’s office said it appeared the man had been in the chimney at least 24 hours.
