Ramona
A Ramona man was killed late Thursday night after another vehicle apparently veered across the center dividing line of California 67 near Highland Valley Road and collided with his car, police said.
Armand Pallotta, 70, died at the scene. His wife, Bertha, 70, was taken to Palomar Memorial Hospital, where she was in intensive care Friday night.
The driver of the first car, Melodie Neuhansen, 36, was also taken to Palomar Memorial Hospital, where she was in stable condition.
Police officials said the 11 p.m. accident is under investigation.
