Man Pleads Guilty in Traci Lords Porn Case

Share

James Marvin Souter, the man who allegedly lured the teen-age Traci Lords into performing sex acts on film, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Los Angeles federal court to procuring the future porn queen for one of her first blue movies when she was only 16.

After his arrest last month, Souter, 48, of Thousand Oaks pleaded innocent to a one-count indictment charging him and the two producers of “Those Young Girls” with sexual exploitation of a minor. But he changed his mind and entered a guilty plea, Assistant U.S. Atty. Charles Stevens said.

Souter, who is free on bail, faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and $100,000 in fines when he is sentenced June 1 before U.S. District Judge J. Spencer Letts.
