Share

Three San Francisco police narcotics officers are being investigated for allegations that they aided drug dealers, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. According to Drug Enforcement Administration memos obtained by the newspaper, one of the officers is suspected of having provided classified information from police computers to a known drug dealer and of trying to block a city investigator from looking into allegations of police corruption, while another officer tipped a suspected drug dealer to a DEA raid. All three officers are still on active duty, the newspaper said, but only one is still working in the narcotics division. None of the officers was identified, but Police Chief Frank Jordan admitted the investigation into the matter “is still ongoing.”
