Where Has Male Chivalry Gone?
I seldom ride the bus. I am 87 years old, nearly 88. Recently, I took a bus downtown. The bus was crowded, the aisle full of standing riders. I entered and grasped a rail overhead to steady myself. Almost immediately, a girl in her 20s and a male in his 40s rose and offered me a seat.
Gloria, individuals differ.
I didn’t realize I looked so old!
