Dan Dierdorf, a former All-Pro offensive lineman with the St. Louis Cardinals and a member of the CBS broadcasting team for the past three years, has been added as the third announcer for ABC’s “Monday Night Football.”

Dierdorf spent 13 years in the NFL, from 1971-83, and was selected All-Pro six times, the top offensive lineman three times and voted to the Team of the Decade for the 1970s. He has also worked for KMOX radio in St. Louis and for the last year has been sports director at KMOV-TV in St. Louis.
