AND NOW HERE’S THE NEWS: Parents everywhere have been outraged by the in-concert antics of the Beastie Boys, those (choose one) lovable/obnoxious/idiotic rap-brats who’ve been causing an uproar wherever they’ve appeared in recent months. Forewarned is forearmed--the boys are coming back to L.A., where they’ll be co-headlining with Run-D.M.C. in a five-night rap extravaganza at the Greek Theatre beginning June 21. (They’ll also be at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa June 20). Oddly enough, despite all the Beasties’ recent notoriety, tour planners say that Run-D.M.C. will close the show. . . . And John Hiatt, who recently left Geffen Records, has signed with A&M; Records, which will release his new album, “Stood Up” (recorded here earlier this spring in four days), at the end of May.
