UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. —
National college football champion Penn State has moved its game against Alabama from Oct. 24 to Sept. 12 so it can be televised in prime time by CBS.
Kickoff is now scheduled for 5 p.m. PDT.
“After considerable internal discussion and conversations with Alabama, we felt the positives of a prime-time national telecast against a quality opponent represented an opportunity we couldn’t ignore,” Athletic Director Jim Tarman said.
