The nude body of a pregnant teen-ager was found Thursday next to the trolley tracks near 32nd and Commercial streets, the second such discovery in two days.
The coroner’s office said Sarah Lee McLemore, 18, of San Diego, was five months pregnant when she was discovered by a San Diego Transit employee about 7 a.m. The dead woman had a massive head wound.
Deputy Coroner Max Murphy said a preliminary report indicated that McLemore may have been killed by a blow to the head with a nearby rock.
On Wednesday, San Diego Transit engineers found the strangled, nude body of Duwan Lee Emerson, 15, of Southeast San Diego, in a flood control channel near Euclid Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Way. The killings occurred about two miles from each other.
