Westwood’s updated community plan will be discussed at a public hearing Monday at 4 p.m. at Warner Avenue Elementary School, 615 Holmby Ave.

The new plan was developed by the city Planning Commission and a private consulting firm, Guren & Associates.

Councilman Zev Yaroslavsky, who proposed the new Westwood plan in 1984, said key changes will include reduced densities for both residential and commercial areas and preservation of historically and architecturally significant buildings.
