Individual ticket prices for this year’s tournament have not been increased, he said.

This year will mark the 10th U.S. Open to be played at the National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadow. Previously, America’s premier tennis event was played at the West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills.

Jorgensen also announced the U.S. Tennis Assn. will donate $160,000 to the International Tennis Federation’s Grand Slam Trust Fund for the second consecutive year. The fund aids development of competitive tennis worldwide.
