Larson Is Winner of Coronado 10-K
Jay Larson of San Diego crossed the finish line a second ahead of runner-up Ken Misner, from Florida, Monday to win the men’s competition in the ninth annual Coronado Memorial Day 10-K.
Larson, running in the 30- to 39-year-old division, completed the 6-mile course in 31 minutes 25 seconds.
The day’s fastest time was turned in by Mike Trujillo of Huntington Beach, who won the men’s wheelchair division in 28:25.
San Diego’s Alma Cabrera was the top woman runner, finishing at 36:01.
