Heavyweight champion Mike Tyson’s sparring session was halted in the third round when he suffered “a nick in the corner of the (right) eye” when he was hit by a left hook from James Broad. Tyson is still scheduled to defend his World Boxing Council and World Boxing Assn. titles Saturday night against Pinklon Thomas.
