A baseball fan who had attended a Cardinal game at Busch Stadium in St. Louis returned to his parked car only to find it crushed beneath a railroad tank car that had fallen 30 feet from a trestle.

Edwin Riggs said he saw the flashing lights of police and fire vehicles as he walked toward his car after the game.

“I got close enough and there was my car under the train,” Riggs said. “I’ll just take a cab to the game next time.”
