The Steam Works, a 10-year-old Sacramento bathhouse which allegedly caters to homosexuals, will close its doors rather than fight a city lawsuit, attorneys for the bathhouse and city announced. The suit was filed by city officials who claim the bathhouse violates a local ordinance regulating adult businesses. The Steam Works will close by June 22, according to a tentative agreement between Deputy City Atty. Tamara Milligan-Harmon and attorney Larry Larsen, representing the bathhouse.
