San Pedro : Seaside Avenue Detour Due
Traffic on Seaside Avenue near the Vincent Thomas Bridge will be restricted to one lane in each direction for about seven months beginning Monday because of roadwork on Seaside, according to the state Department of Transportation.
In addition, eastbound traffic leaving the bridge on Seaside will be detoured to Ferry Street, south to Pilchard Street, east to Navy Way and then north to Seaside.
Caltrans said traffic on the bridge will not be affected by the $1.2-million project, which includes widening of the road and addition of a stop light. The work is expected to be completed next January.
