Temple City : Dial-a-Ride Pact Signed
The city has signed a contract with Community Transit Services to provide dial-a-ride services to Temple City residents who are 65 or older or handicapped.
The service will operate Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. One-way fees will be 50 cents.
The city has canceled the market shuttle service initiated last year because of lack of interest, but dial-a-ride will take senior citizens to markets on an individual basis, said Vic Kobett, director of parks and recreation.
