Two armed men forced their way into a Long Beach home, demanded money and then opened fire, killing a woman and wounding her boyfriend as he escaped by diving out a bedroom window, police said. Michael Durham, 34, staggered to a neighbor’s home and called police. Officers found the bullet-riddled body of his 18-year-old girlfriend, Lisa Gordon, lying in bed, Detective George Fox said. Durham, who underwent surgery for gunshot wounds at a local hospital, told police he had answered a knock at the door of his home on Myrtle Street. Two men burst in, demanding money, Fox said. After Durham turned over some money, the intruders began shooting, firing numerous shots at him as he dived out the window. Police said an estimated $3,000 to $4,000 in cash and other items were taken.
