A Fresno elementary school principal has been arrested on charges of taking pornographic photographs of young girl students. Loren K. Ebersole, 55, of Burroughs Elementary School, was charged with six counts of sexually molesting and exploiting children under the age of 14 through use of photographs depicting sexual conduct, after police identified eight girls from third through sixth grades in the photographs. Ebersole was the Fresno School District’s Outstanding Young Educator in 1965. Education officials said he would be suspended without pay. Police began investigating after an employee at a film-processing outlet reported having received the photographs for developing.
