3.3 Quake Rattles Yucca Valley

YUCCA VALLEY, Calif. —
The second mild earthquake in as many days jiggled desert communities early today, but sleepy residents paid little mind, officials said.
The quake, measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale, struck at 6:05 a.m. four miles west-southwest of this Riverside County community 15 miles north of Palm Springs.
