The founder of the racist White Students Union resigned from that organization, saying he has learned “the power of love.” In an interview with the Sacramento Bee, Greg Withrow, 26, was quoted as saying: “I don’t want to hate anymore. I don’t want to hurt anymore,” because his love for a woman “named Sylvia” had taught him to love others. Withrow, a former student at American River College near Sacramento, said he resigned last week.
