The Rev. Jesse Jackson will be featured next month on an anti-apartheid record by the New York rap group Stetsasonic. The single, titled “A-F-R-I-C-A” and released by Tommy Boy Records, will open and close with excerpts from Jackson’s speeches attacking the South African racial policy. Stetsasonic leader Daddy-0 (real name: Glen Bolton) said that he was inspired to write the song by Jackson’s visit last fall to the South Africa’s frontline states. Footage from that trip will also be featured prominently in a video for the song.
