Driver Sought in Hit-Run Death: The California Highway Patrol is looking for the driver of a black BMW as a suspect in the hit-and-run death of a Huntington Beach man on the San Diego Freeway early last Sunday. David Mikus, 23, died at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital one hour after his southbound red Toyota pick-up was struck at 1:10 a.m. on I-405 south of the Harbor Boulevard exit. The BMW should have moderate damage on the front-left bumper, grill and fender, Officer Paul Caldwell said. He asked that anyone with information on the collision call the CHP at (714) 547-8311.
