Mission Viejo : Hospital Volunteers Honored for Services

Sixty members of the Auxiliary of Mission Community Hospital were honored recently for thousands of hours spent helping patients and visitors at the medical facility.
Letha Reed of Mission Viejo received an award for contributing 10,000 volunteer hours at the hospital.
Also honored were Cathleen Norry of Laguna Niguel, with 6,500 hours; Jean Peterson of Laguna Hills, 6,000 hours; Mary Coombs and Vyrian Sutton, both of San Juan Capistrano, 5,000 hours; Marge Wilcox of El Toro, 4,500 hours, and Jane Chunas of El Toro and Becky Dockray of Mission Viejo, 3,000 hours.
George McLay, recently retired executive director of the hospital, was made an honorary member of the auxiliary during the ceremonies.
