A 29-year-old man was being held in the shooting deaths of two men in the Antelope Valley, and a second suspect was still being sought, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said. Officers went to the sparsely settled area at 240th Street East and Avenue O, 10 miles northeast of Pearblossom, after motorists reported seeing a struggle. One victim was found in the open and was taken to San Bernardino County Medical Center, where he died. Deputies found the body of another victim in a nearby shack. A getaway car, described by witnesses, was found abandoned in sand. A search dog led deputies to Brad Millward, 29, behind a tree. Deputies did not release the names of the victims or of the suspect still being hunted. No motive was given.
