Larry Brown, who signed a four-year contract last spring to remain as head basketball coach at Kansas, is again talking with the New York Knicks about their coaching vacancy, according to a published report.

The New York Daily News reported that Brown, who was among several candidates to replace the fired Bob Hill before signing May 8 to stay at Kansas, talked with the National Basketball Assn. team this week. Quoting an unidentified league source, the newspaper said Brown, who previously coached at UCLA, discussed the coaching job with newly named General Manager Al Bianchi.
