Fullerton : Man Killed in Crash During Trip to Nevada
A Fullerton man was killed and his passenger injured when his car overturned near Alamo, Nev., authorities said Sunday.
Officials for the Nevada Highway Patrol said Michael Keeler, 31, apparently fell asleep at the wheel Saturday while driving on U.S. Highway 93 about 15 miles north of Alamo in Lincoln County. Keeler was ejected from the vehicle when it overturned, they said.
His passenger, Barry I. McCarthy, 25, of Anaheim, suffered serious injuries when he was ejected from the vehicle, they said. He was listed in satisfactory condition in the hospital in Caliente, Nev.
