Hajime Meshiai Wins Hiroshima Open
Hajime Meshiai won the $267,000 Hiroshima Open golf tournament by two strokes Sunday.
Meshiai earned $48,000 for his fourth career victory and the first this year.
Meshiai finished the four rounds at 275, 13-under par after firing a 72 over the 6,865-yard, par-72 Hiroshima Country Club. Yoshiyuki Isomura and Tadao Nakamura of Japan and Taiwan’s Lu Liang-huan tied for second at 277.
Lu had a 68 Sunday, Nakamura a 68 and Isomura a 72.
Lu, Nakamura and Isomura each collected $19,200.
