Two people killed when their World War II-era plane crashed in western Fresno County were identified as Santa Rosa residents. The coroner’s office identified the victims as William Richards, 62, and Anne Hare, 43. Sheriff’s deputies said witnesses in another plane flying with them from Harris Ranch to Los Banos heard a whine, then an explosion before the P-22 Ryan training plane crashed in a cotton field near Firebaugh.
