Walnut : Single-Parent Programs
Mt. San Antonio College will introduce two special programs for low-income single parents aimed at preparing them to seek higher education and develop skills. The Single Parent Academies will begin in August and November, run about six weeks and emphasize work habits, decision-making, time management and problem-solving. The programs will be free and free transportation and child care will be provided. Applicants must contact the college by July 29 to enroll in the first academy.
