W.Va. Mayor Indicted on Drugs

CHARLESTON, W.Va. —
Mayor Mike Roark was charged today in a 30-count indictment with distributing cocaine and obstructing justice.
U.S. Atty. Michael Carey said Roark was charged with 13 felony counts and 17 misdemeanors in the indictment returned by a special grand jury meeting in Bluefield. The mayor is a Republican reelected to his second term in April.
