Santa Ana / Newport Beach : Leadership Training Programs to Be Given
The Santa Ana and Newport Harbor Area chambers of commerce are starting separate leadership training programs for residents and business people in their communities. Both are based on a format developed by the Idaho-based Center for Leadership Resources.
The programs involve seminars, workshops and projects that help trainees become more effective participants in the public decision-making process, according to the sponsors.
A similar program by the Los Angeles West Chamber of Commerce has won praise from participants and civic leaders, according to Jack Rucker, who created the format.
