Actor Matthew Broderick was in stable condition Thursday after a car crash near Enniskillen in Northern Ireland, in which a mother and her daughter were killed. Broderick, 25, who starred in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and “WarGames,” was traveling in Ireland with his girlfriend, Jennifer Gray, when his car and a vehicle carrying the two women collided Wednesday afternoon. Police identified the victims as Margaret Doherty, and her daughter, Ann Gallagher, both from Enniskillen, County Fermanagh. Broderick and Gray were taken to Erne Hospital in Enniskillen. Gray was treated and released, but a hospital spokesman said Thursday that Broderick suffered a badly broken leg and was listed in stable condition.
