Iran Barkley and Sambu Kalambay will meet for the vacant World Boxing Assn. middleweight title Oct. 10 in Italy, promoter Bob Arum announced. The winner will fight Marvelous Marvin Hagler.
Barkley, of New York, has a 22-3 record with 14 knockouts. Kalambay, a native of Kenya living in Rome, has a 41-3-1 record with 23 knockouts.
