Bernard Toone, a former basketball star at Marquette, was arrested on charges of attempting to break into an automobile near his home in Yonkers, N.Y., officials said.
Toone, who played forward on the Warriors’ national championship team in 1977, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. He has previously been arrested for stealing a car and taking a radio from a parked car.
