Undercover Buena Park police officers followed a suspected drug dealer to a house in Orange Monday night where, police said, they found machine guns, rifles, pistol, explosives and illegal methamphetamines valued at $30,000.
Marvin J. Lindsey, 33, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamines for sale, possession of a sawed-off shotgun and possession of explosives at his home in the 700 block of Handy Street in Orange, police spokesman Rich McMillen said.
Lindsey is being held in Orange County Jail on $25,000 bail.
David Ogata, 26, of Buena Park was booked into the jail on suspicion of selling methamphetamines and was being held on $25,000 bail.
Undercover narcotics officers bought one ounce of methamphetamines at another location before following Ortega, a suspected drug dealer, to Lindsey's house, McMillen said.
Lindsey was carrying a .45-caliber pistol when officers came to his house, McMillen said.
Police also seized two automatic assault rifles, five other rifles, five pistols, a sawed-off shotgun with an extra barrel, a laser sighting device for firing a rifle at night, 8,000 rounds of ammunition, blasting caps and five ounces of plastic explosives, McMillen added.
