Officials at the California Correctional Center in Susanville lifted restrictions in a 1,100-man unit that was put on lock-down status after a fight, but prisoners in a second unit are still restricted to their cells. Kurt Leitaker, chief deputy superintendent, said the lock-down was imposed after large groups of prisoners began forming in the prison yard in response to a fight Friday involving Martin Armas, 20, a convicted robber from Kern County who was beaten by two other inmates.
