Huntington Beach : Man Kills Wife, Self After Children Flee
A 45-year-old man shot his wife to death early Saturday and then committed suicide with the same gun, police said.
Huntington Beach Police Sgt. Barry Case said the shootings occurred shortly after midnight during a family disturbance in the 5600 block of Riviera Drive.
Case said William Bailey shot his wife, Robyn, 32, once before turning the gun on himself. The couple’s two children had been in the house but fled to a neighbor’s home before the shootings.
