Alhambra : It’s Madame Mayor Bunker
Mary Louise Bunker, who was elected to her second four-year term on the City Council last November, became mayor this week under a system that automatically rotates the position among council members. Bunker, who succeeded J. Parker Williams, will serve as mayor until May 23, 1988.
Councilman Talmage V. Burke is the new vice mayor and Councilwoman Barbara A. Messina has become chairman of the Redevelopment Agency.
