Robbie Davis, making his only pitching appearance of the week, allowed just four hits and hit a home run Saturday to lead Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks to a 5-0 victory over Berlin, Conn., in the championship game of the National 13-15 Babe Ruth League World Series.

The California team scored four runs in the second inning. Brian Smith led off with a home run. Then, Chris Lohman singled, stole second and scored on Kevin Milligan’s double. Jay Sanford reached base on an outfield error, and Darin Tsukashima followed with a double that drove in two more runs.
