A man brandishing a .45-caliber automatic robbed a pizza parlor of $1,300 Sunday night and escaped, police said.
The gunman walked into Numero Uno Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant at 18120 Brookhurst Ave. at about 10:15 p.m. shortly after the last customers had left, Sgt. Larry Griswald said.
The man pulled the gun on a waitress and ordered her to the manager’s office, Griswald said. He demanded money and fled with a green bank bag containing the cash.
No one was injured, Griswald said.
