Santa Ana : $500,000 Fire Probed at Cabinet Factory
Officials Tuesday were investigating a $500,000 fire that gutted a cabinet manufacturing business shortly after midnight.
The blaze broke out about 12:50 a.m. Tuesday at Pacific Cabinets, 2431 West 1st St., public information officer Sharon Frank said.
“That’s a place that manufactures cabinets, so they had a lot of wood on the premises,” in addition to glue and solvents--”a lot of potential combustibles,” Frank said.
Damage to the building was estimated at $300,000. The content loss, including four vehicles parked inside, was placed at $200,000, she said.
