Many Offices to Close Monday

City halls and county offices will be closed Monday because of the Labor Day holiday.
Trash collection in most cities and in the county’s unincorporated areas will be one day behind schedule for the entire week, with no collection on Labor Day.
In Yorba Linda, trash pickup will be either Saturday or Tuesday. MG Disposal Systems Inc., which services Fullerton, will try to maintain its regular collection schedule, except for Monday. The company asks that residents put their trash out on their normal pickup day. Residents with Monday pickup should put their trash out on Tuesday.
Most banks and savings and loans will be closed Monday.
All branches of the county library will be closed.
No regular mail delivery will be made Monday. All post office branches will be closed. Express mail will be delivered but not collected.
The county Animal Control Department will be closed Monday for Labor Day and again Wednesday to observe Admissions Day. It will be open Tuesday.
Courts will also be closed Monday and Wednesday.
