A man and 14-year-old boy have been arrested for investigation of attempting to break into a guest house belonging to “Tonight Show” host Johnny Carson, authorities said. Security guards on the fenced estate on Wildlife Road noticed the pair walking late at night across the tennis courts, said Sgt. Pete Fosselman of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. “One guard then noticed that the two suspects were trying to force open a sliding glass door that goes to the guest house,” Fosselman said. “And when the security guards spotted them, and turned the flashlight on them, both suspects ran, but they were able to apprehend the adult.” The youth was found hiding in bushes near the tennis courts, he said. Jay Donatoni, 22, of Malibu and the boy, also of Malibu, were arrested and booked for investigation of attempted burglary, Fosselman said. Nobody was in the guest house at the time, but Carson was home and was made aware of the incident, authorities said.
