Anaheim : Motorcyclist Killed Under Wheels of Truck
A 26-year-old motorcyclist was fatally injured Tuesday when he hit a tractor-trailer rig on the Riverside Freeway in Anaheim, officials said.
The cyclist, Nathan Neuhaus, was riding west at about 8:55 a.m. Tuesday when the handlebars of his motorcycle hit the side of the passing truck just west of State College Boulevard, according to a deputy coroner.
Neuhaus and his motorcycle were swept underneath the rig’s rear wheels, the deputy coroner said. He was taken to Anaheim Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:14 a.m.
