Orange County College Roundup : Chapman Men Gain Soccer Win

Kevin Olsen and Mauricio Musiet scored second-half goals to lead Chapman College to a 2-0 victory over UC Irvine Wednesday night in a men’s nonconference soccer match at Chapman.

Olsen scored on a header off Scott McCrimmon’s free kick at 59:42. Musiet added a goal off Todd Hughes’ assist in the final two minutes.

Goalie Mark Dudzinski had eight saves for Chapman (4-2). UCI is 2-5.

In women’s nonconference soccer:

UC Irvine 2, Chapman 1--Susan Hower scored the game-winner on a penalty kick in the 73rd minute. Chapman (1-3) took an early lead on a goal by Karen Bonnett. Shelly Williams scored in the second half for UCI (2-3-1).
