Local News in Brief : Damage Put at $150,000 in Valencia House Fire
A fire at a house in Valencia early Sunday caused an estimated $150,000 in damage before being extinguished, Los Angeles County fire officials said.
About 30 firefighters were called to the fire on the 25000 block of Dorado Street shortly before 1 a.m., Fire Capt. Larry Purefoy said. The fire was put out less than an hour later, he said. No one was in the house at the time of the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Purefoy said.
