3.8 Quake Shakes Illinois, Kentucky and Missouri

PADUCAH, Ky. —
An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale rattled parts of Kentucky, Illinois and Missouri near the New Madrid Fault on Wednesday, causing minor damage, officials said. No injuries were reported in the quake, which was centered 10 miles southwest of Paducah.
